Grant Applications

HJWL accepts grant applications once a year with the submission period opening in as early as November and closing in January the proceeding year. Once a grant application is received, a HJWL member from the Investigating Committee will take on the task of investigating the grant in detail.

A member of HJWL will reach out to the organization's contact listed on the grant application to set up a time via phone or in person to answer additional questions about the grant request. The Investigating Committee reviews all grant requests received for the year and determines which grants will be awarded.

The total investigating process takes one to two months to complete. Organizations are notified late spring as to how much of their request has been awarded.
