The Holland Junior Welfare
League association averages approximately 40+ active members, holds three major fundraisers, and
is involved in nine community service projects.
Membership commitment is for a total of 6 years, with the first
year being a provisional year. We meet as a group twice
monthly from September through April, with an annual dinner
meeting the first or second week of May. Most committees
recess for the months of May through August. We ask that
each member, upon completion of their first year, participate
in both fundraising and service areas of Holland Junior Welfare
League. At this time, they are also eligible to act as
a project chairperson or board member.
An informational meeting is held each spring for those interested
in membership for the next fall. There is no obligation
to join Holland Junior Welfare League at this meeting.
The purpose is to provide those interested with a better understanding
of the goals and requirements of the organization.
